2. The Proven 4-Paragraph Architecture for Writing Task 2
Writing Task 2 accounts for two-thirds of your total Writing score (minimum 250 words, 40 minutes). Follow a rock-solid 4-paragraph structure: 1) Introduction (Paraphrase the prompt + clear Thesis Statement); 2) Body Paragraph 1 (Topic Sentence + Explanation + Specific Real-World Example); 3) Body Paragraph 2 (Second Main Argument + Elaboration + Evidence); 4) Conclusion (Restate your position and summarize main points without introducing new ideas).
3. Speaking Part 2 & Part 3: Demonstrating C1 Fluency
In Speaking Part 3, examiners test your ability to speculate, evaluate, and discuss abstract societal issues. Avoid short answers by applying the AREA method: Answer directly, give a Reason, provide a concrete Example, and mention an Alternative perspective using conditionals or hedging.
